PROBLEMS WITH DRY ENDS
PROBLEMS WITH DRY ENDS
Washing my hair seems to dry it out and leaves my ends feeling like straw, where am I going wrong?

You could be using too much shampoo and not enough conditioner. Most people do! Go easy on the shampoo and lavish conditioner on your hair especially if it's long, in both cases rinse well with lukewarm water.

KNOTTED HAIR
KNOTTED HAIR
My hair gets very knotty after shampooing and conditioning, why is this?

It's probably the drying not the cleansing and conditioning that's causing the knots. Blot your hair dry carefully with a towel, never rub as this will damage fragile wet hair and work knots right in.

TOO MUCH PRODUCT
TOO MUCH PRODUCT
Using conditioner on my hair just makes it oily.

Most people with short hair use too much conditioner. Carefully select the right conditioner for your hair type and then only apply it to the lengths and ends avoiding the roots.

SENSITIVE SCALP
SENSITIVE SCALP
My scalp gets itchy after I shampoo and condition my hair.

An itchy scalp is often a sign of product residue as many people with longer or thicker hair don't rinse their hair well enough after shampooing or conditioning. At each stage of your regime make sure you give your hair a thorough rinse in lukewarm water.
